is a regional subsidiary to China Petroleum & Natural
Gas Cooperation. Through years¡¯ development, the company
has acquired the capacity of annually processing 2.25
million tons of crude oil. Having been served as a major
and vital petrochemical production base in Ningxia and
even in the whole region of China¡¯s northwest, the company
has grown into a comprehensive petrochemical enterprise
integrated with petrochemical industry, alkali chloride
chemo-industry and coal chemo-industry. |
| Project Content and Scale: |
¡¡A 30,000-ton polypropylene production line
was completed at the end of 2004. To date, the production
line has been extended to the capacity of producing 100,000
tons of polypropylene a year. By the year 2010, the capacity
will be extended to 200,000 a year. |
| Conditions Available for Project Construction: |
¡¡Situated in Yinchuan City¡¯s Xi¡¯xia District,
the project area enjoys a unique geographical location
coupled with convenient transport and communication, abundant
electricity, water and coal resources and complete supporting
facilities for both industrial production and people¡¯s
life. By fully utilizing the enterprise¡¯s existing production
conditions, the investment cost will be largely reduced.

| Prospect for Project: |
¡¡Being one of the five major general synthetic
resins, polypropylene is also one of the major general
plastic products with sound physical and mechanical performance
which can be used as engineering plastic material. The
injection molding and extruded products made of the plastic
are widely applied in such industries as auto-vehicle,
electrical appliances, day-to-day items, furniture, and
packing. The market demand for the product shows a momentum
of stable growth. |
