With the main theme of "creating brand models with minority nationality features and seeking for further opening up and mutual win", and also by targeting at "cultivating Ningxia as China's main distribution base in the area of halal food and Muslim commodities", the 2nd China (Ningxia) International Halal Food / Muslim Commodities Festival and the Investment & Trade Fair will be held on August 16-19, 2007 in Yinchuan, the capital city of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, China.
Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, as China's only provincial level Hui governed region, has already developed a group industry of halal food and Muslim commodities. And with the past years' of development, the products quality has now been highly improved. By far, a series of standardized, scaled and harm-free products have been taken into shape. The breeding of cattle/sheep and the processing of halal food, dairy products, grain/oil, health-care food, wolfberry products and cashmere products in Ningxia have enjoyed high popularity both in China and the world. With the characteristics of various kinds, superior quality and high grade, the Muslim products produced in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region have long been favored by the customers. At the Trade Fair Forum this time, we would be also honorable to have some well-known experts and scholars coming from different countries and regions to make exchange and exploration of halal food industry as well as its future development, purposing to seek for further development with our mutual efforts.
As a hinterland in China's northwest region, Ningxia is also the area where the grand desert scene, the beautiful south scenery beyond the Great Wall, the elapsed yet still mysterious Xixia Kingdom, the enchanting Hui folk customs and the age-old Yellow River culture exist side by side.
